Brake Fluid DOT 4 is a special power transmission medium for hydraulic brake and clutch systems.
Brake Fluid DOT 4 is based on polyglycol ether. It contains glycols as lubricants, effective corrosion inhibitors and antioxidants. It is used in hydraulic brake and clutch systems in passenger cars, commercial vehicles, motorcycles, agricultural vehicles, construction machinery, etc.
Brake Fluid DOT 4 is hygoscopic and must therefore be stored in tightly closed containers. The containers must be closed again immediately after the liquid has been withdrawn.
