BASINOL® continues to strengthen its official OEM approval portfolio for heavy-duty engine oils: BASINOL® Truck Longlife 0530 Premium has been approved by Daimler Truck AG according to DTFR 15C120 for Mercedes-Benz Trucks vehicles and aggregates. The approval was confirmed by official letter dated 08 April 2026.
This latest approval once again highlights the high quality standards of BASINOL® Made in Germany lubricants. In the commercial vehicle sector, reliable engine oils play a crucial role in protecting engines under demanding operating conditions, long service intervals and intensive daily use.
BASINOL® Truck Longlife 0530 Premium has been developed for modern heavy-duty vehicle engines and meets the demanding requirements of the Daimler Truck Fluid Release regulation DTFR 15C120. The approval applies within the scope defined in the Daimler Truck overview sheet DTFR 15A100 and in accordance with the relevant specifications regarding SAE classes, filling quantities and oil change intervals.
For international distribution partners, workshops and fleet customers, this new approval provides a strong sales argument. It confirms the technical performance of the product and offers additional confidence when selecting the right engine oil for Mercedes-Benz Trucks applications.
The official listing in the Mercedes-Benz Trucks BeVo database is decisive. The DTFR approval remains valid as long as the product name is listed there accordingly.
